To generate a Google Maps link showing your daycare location, follow these instructions:
- Open a web browser on your computer or mobile device and go to www.google.com/maps.
- In the search bar at the top of the page, type in the address of your daycare location. Make sure to include the street name, city, state, and any other relevant information.
- Press the Enter key or click the magnifying glass icon to start the search.
- Google Maps will display the location of your daycare on the map. Zoom in or out using the plus (+) or minus (-) buttons on the bottom right of the screen to adjust the level of detail.
- Once you have zoomed in to the desired level, click on the address of your daycare that appears on the left side of the screen. A small box will pop up with additional information about the location.
- Within the pop-up box, you will see several options, including the option to share the location. Click on the “Share” button.
- A new box will appear with different sharing options. Choose the “Copy link” option. This will automatically copy the Google Maps link to your clipboard.
- Open the Daycare promotion dashboard, click on “Account Information” in the left menu
- Right-click inside the text field named “Google map link” and select “Paste” from the context menu. Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+V (or Command+V on Mac) to paste the link.
Now when someone clicks on your address on your website, they will see the exact location or your daycare and can find directions on how to get there.
